And variations to monster size variations

The swordsman can now bull rush monsters that start with 2 or more health, but only when they have been reduced to one health, and never into a pit. He can also bull rush monsters with greater than 5 defense.

And the overgrown monster system has changed so that two of the size increases raise health rather than stats. Here’s the new list:

Runt: -2 to attack & defense
Pipsqueak: -1 to attack & defense
Standard: no change
Overgrown: +1 to attack & defense
Mammoth: +2 to attack & defense
Humongous: +3 to attack & defense
Ginormous +1 HP Gargantuan: +4 to attack & defense
Titanic: +5 to attack & defense
Colossal: +2 HP

Yikes! These new monsters will be quite threatening. I am glad of the new bull rush ability to combat that.

Ok, I played a game a little while ago and realized how threatening the new large monsters are. In the canyon, I met a monstrous scorpion the size of a house with 5 hit points. I was using the dwarf and so I bellowed. The scorpion killed all three worms, I used all my leap scrolls to get away, and the scorpion was still unharmed. Then the nearby Wraith sorcerer enlarged it still further. I barely escaped with my life!

Finally I sent in the elf. I shot the Wraith and managed to kill the scorpion. Still, it was a scary experience!
